VIVA is pleased to announce the opening of a new round of VIVA Grants for Libraries. The RFP is attached. Applications are open today and are due on October 12. 

VIVA Grants for Libraries offers funding and support to libraries working on innovative ways to expand access, promote learning, and empower instructors and students in meeting curricular needs on campus.  Grants for Libraries are awarded to a wide variety of library-led projects that focus on the unique ways libraries can support student success. Examples include projects that create course materials, guides, and resources; partner with departments on large-scale adoptions or test bank sprints; or prepare instructors to meet student curricular needs through programming and training. These examples are illustrative rather than exhaustive, and applicants are encouraged to consider any unaddressed student needs that their library is uniquely positioned to meet, particularly those that affect student success and institutional retention, progression, and completion.

 This application will be the first in a two-part application process. Finalists will be identified after the initial application process. Finalists will be notified by December 1, with final applications due on February 5. Final notifications will be made by April 1.
