Three issues related to the Innovation of Smart Glass

Unappealing to the users aesthetically: The introduction of the Google glass sounded good, but it was unappealing to the customers. It looked unattractive and awkward as if it in in the prototype stage.
Safety and Health Concerns: The users were not comfortable with the introduction of such a gadget that emits carcinogenic radiation. The users do not want the glass to be in direct contact with the skin.
No Clear Function: Google Glass has two basic function: To have a feed of useful information and to capture the image quickly. However, there was no such clear benefit provided to the customers . The engineers who were behind the introduction of the product also failed to explain the queries to the customers. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the company to focus on the outcomes so that the product won’t go out of the market easily (Marks, 2014).

Importance of the three issues to Google

The issues highlighted in the previously are considered to be vital for Google Inc. This is because Google Glass has actually generated a huge momentum and it has inspired a huge number of people. However, with the passage of time, the investors turned out their attention and this has led to the emergence of complaints raised by the users.
The company should try to carry out a demo before launching the Google Glass. As a large section of the customers are not satisfied with the design and thus they prefer to choose the ordinary glass. This issue is important for the company as it will affect the reputation of its brand value in other products too. Further, the revenue as well as the cost in the manufacturing of the glass will be in vain if it does not capture the market to some extent (McNaney et al., 2014).
It has been found that Google Glass has been restricted to be -used by the users in movie theaters. This is due to the fact that there might be chances of piracy or illegal filming of the movies. Further, it has also been banned in the casinos. It is the responsibility of the company to check that there is no such restriction and it should try to manufacture the device so that it can be used by the customers anywhere (McNaney et al., 2014).
