**Pt 1: Once Rainsford gets on the island and leaves Whitney behind on the boat she ends up sneaking onto the island.

"Do you like we've passed that island yet? I can't tell in the dark. I hope so."

Part 1.) Whitney gets caught by Zaroff

**Pt 2: Zaroff Witnesses Whitney sneak onto the island but when he goes to confront her she's nowhere to be found. She was snooping around the basement trying to find Rainsford.

Part 3.) Whitney is found

When Zaroff finds Whitney he sees that she's been with the people that he's held captive. She has been trying to figure out ways to get Rainsford, her, and the people that have been held captive off of this island with no harm being done.

Conclusion.) Whitney successfully gets everyone off

Whitney has successfully gotten everyone off of the island with no one getting harmed, but when Zaroff find out their plan he finds a way to trap Whitney and her only. He ends up just letting whitney free.

"He examined the ground closely and found what he had hoped to find--the print of hunting boots."

Part 2.) Whitney admits to Rainsford what she found out about what Zaroff has done to the captive people

Whitney tells Rainsford that Zaroff has been holding them captive for a long time. He has been starving them and they are very sleep deprived because Zaroff hasn't given them anything to eat or any beds to sleep in.
