In the book Number the stars has a scary story behind it.This book is about a girl named Annemaire and she is trying to save her best friend from being taken away from the Nazis. World war 2 is happening....German soldiers are at all corners,shutting down German shops,and even taking German people.And Annemaires best friend named Ellen is German and she is going to be taken away from her family..Annemarie has a little sister named Krisrty and she really wants a cupcake with pink frosting but there is no butter,flour,and sugar.There is even a curfew that you can't be outside until 8:00 pm.And Lise is another sibling from Annemarie and Kristy.She is the oldest and she died but she also has a husband named Peter and since that day she died he is sad and gloomy and he was the funniest family but now he's down.There is so much more to this book if you want to read I'm telling it feels so real and it's an amazing historical fiction book.

Twins is the best book because this book reminds me of how me and my sister fights but we always come together in different ways we can't imagine.
