         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would like to see us sit down and establish a school wide common language/vocabulary that we use when teaching literacy writing and math. <br>Example: <br>First grade uses topic sentence and I use the terms opening sentence/introductory sentence.  <br>If we are all using a common language that can be built on.  <br>example: <br>Kindergarten uses if/then for cause and effect<br>well when they come to first grade they would build on that and teach that the if is the cause and that the then is the effect. <br>I believe this would cause less confusion for the students.  This would also help teachers because they wouldn't think the kids don't know what they are talking about when they actually do. </div>]]></description>
