This is a picture of the Milky Way over Quiver Forest. Taken on 12 December, 2012.

I have chosen this picture because it shows just how beautiful Mother Nature can be. The Milky Way is clearly visible in the sky. The Sun is also rising, making it a truly beautiful picture that takes my breath away.
