Foundation Learning programme in a small group setting with extra staff support. This includes working on Employability Skills and building confidence/independence for the future. They also have vocational options including Animal Care, Childcare, Business, Health and Social Care and Digital Skills. Students also continue with English and Maths.

A range of programmes which focus on developing personal, social, and work-related skills, with both accredited qualifications and Recognising & Recording Progress & Achievement (RARPA). Each course is carefully matched to individual needs and abilities, providing clear next steps into further education, employment, or independent adulthood. Programmes also include English, Maths, as well as employability skills and vocational options. They also offer supported internship placements such as Project SEARCH and work experience opportunities. There is also a pre-supported internship programme to allow a stepping stone onto a supported internship.

Mill Ford is a school with a specialism in meeting the needs of children and young adults aged 3-19 with complex needs, including severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex medical needs and autistic spectrum conditions. Their 6th form is Yr 12-14.

Care facilities includes support with personal care, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy etc.

We are a foundation school, offering education for 88 children between the ages of 2 and 19 years with complex physical and sensory difficulties. Many pupils also have medical needs and other difficulties that may affect their learning. Our school is a resource for the whole of the South West peninsula. Children’s health is supported by the Specialist Community Nursing team and a range of staff from the NHS, Children's Disability Social work Teams, Livewell South West and staff from neighbouring authorities. 

Their 6th form is Year 12-14.

Cann Bridge School is a special school for children and young people aged 3 to 19 years. Located in Estover, Plymouth, pupils travel from Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall to learn, with capacity for 92 pupils. The school is designated as one for children and young people with complex cognition and learning needs.

All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan for Cognition and Learning, and this is either a Severe Learning Difficulty or a Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty. The majority of pupils also have additional specific learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities or a complex medical condition. 

A specialist college with learning hubs based across the South West that believes teaching and learning takes place in your community, not just the classroom. They offer outreach support, either in student's homes or in the community.
