- Explore own gifts and how they can be used to serve others
- Explore how people can love, serve and witness in response to Jesus' love today 

Through the use of a mind map students were able to demonstrate their depth of understanding about our mission visits to the Philippines by highlighting the things we do and provide. This assessment task also allowed for all of my students, no matter their abilities to be successful.  

From this activity students then went on to small group work to discuss/ research for possible fundraising ideas to support this year's visits. This is then allowed for our x2 SRC representatives to take these ideas to their fortnightly meetings. 

It also allowed for further discussion with Year 10 students who went on the trip last year therefore, creating and nurturing new connections and relations between the junior and middle school.

- Better answers and further questions within answers
- Comparisons and contracts to own lives from stories in Bible of Jesus showing love and service and also Year 10 student presentation of their experience in the Philippines. 
- More 'focused' small group discussions including supporting facts/ examples to statements.
