My favorite prasang of Mahant Swami Maharaj is the prasang of him touching the feet of a balak that was posing as a statue. This prasang is my favorite because it shows that despite being the guru of such a large and prestigious sanstha, he has no maan. He treats everyone the same and gives everybody respect. He doesn't believe himself to be better then anyone else and this is a quality that I would like to implement into my life. That is why this prasang has a special place in my heart.

Several years ago, MSM was giving a pravachan to kishores during India trip. The kishores were super tired and started falling asleep during MSM’s speech. MSM noticed this and felt really sorry that kishores were falling asleep. The next day, he personally apologized through a handwritten note to the kishores and asked for forgiveness. He said he was sorry his speech was so boring that kishores had to fall asleep. This resonates with me because MSM is so humble that he apologized for something that wasn’t even his fault. He felt truly sorry for something that he had no control over. He always puts others before himself constantly. Yayyy

During NC18, we were all in the main hall. We got a incoming FaceTime call from someone. Little did we know, it was Mahant Swami all the way from Sarangpur. Even though it was nighttime there, Mahant Swami took time out to FaceTime us. He even told gave us a hug. Despite the distant, I felt so close to Him.

I love patarveliya, so one of my favorite prasangs is when Yogiji Maharaj indirectly claimed that Mahant Swami Maharaj doesn’t like patarveliya (instead he likes mumra) and ever since that day, Swamishri hasn’t eaten patarveliya. This prasang exemplifies the length Swamishri went to please his guru. It’s something I need to be willing to do with my niyams (which are only a fraction of his).

Mahant Swami was sitting in front of hundreds of people in a Sabha when a haribhakta came up to him to get a bunch of narachadis prasad-ified. After Bap sprinkled rose petals and the haribhakta bowed and went to go leave. As he turned around, bapa waved his hand to call him back and tie one on him. My interpretation of this prasang and why I’ll remember it always is because it just shows me the small details Bapa keeps track of. This incident just symbolizes that our lives are tied to Mahant Swami’s.

While Mahant Swami was in Robinsville he paghe lagged (touched the feet of ) a balak who was dressed as a paramhansa on the stage. This truly embodies his humility and love for all despite differences. He didn't even think about his position as the Satpurush, he merely put himself on the same level as us. This prasang is one of my favorites because it makes me realize that the Satpurush doesn't have to create magical leelas, the smallest actions became divine through him. His divinity is rooted in more than miracles. His divinity is in his traits, his small gestures, and every little thing.
