         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>CW 2 </strong>- I included this learning outcome with chemical world four as I found there were many cross links between these learning outcomes. MIxtures and their seperations are someting which would develop out of classifying substances.<br><strong>NOS 2</strong> - I found this learning outcome is of great importance especially regarding practise for the Classroom Based Assessment. Students generation of their own questions and hypotheses is a very relevent to their learning and the new Junior Cycle specification. <br><strong>NOS 3</strong> - Very applicable for students conducting in the CBA, students are in control of their own learning and of planning an experimentative procedure. This was demonstrated by students in lesson four.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Throughout this unit I tried to touch off as many key skills as I could. The main ones I integrated were: Communication, Literacy, Working with others and Managing information and thinking.<br><strong>Communication </strong>this was the main key skill my cooperating teacher and my tutor got me to focus on. These students didnt like to answer out in class therefore to encourage communication, I introduced alot of pair work and group work. This in turn developed students key skill of <strong>Working With Others. </strong>This I believe is a major life skill also. To be able to work cooperatively with other people where all ideas are heard and appreciated. This requires respect. <br>I believed it was very important that students understood various key words to apply to fulfilling this unit and getting the most from it. therefore the key skill of <strong>Literacy</strong> was very applicable.<br>I want my students to be understand and learn the knowledge they are taught in school but ultimately I want students to be able to apply their knowledge to real life events therefore <strong>managing information and thinking</strong> is a skill I found very applicable to this unit of learning. </div>]]></description>
