A general lack of support for feminist movements could make it more difficult, given how deeply rooted that our society is in the patriarchy.
Both individual and systemic changes are very important, given that systemic changes have the biggest impact on actual changes. However, in order for systemic change to happen, people have to realize that there is a problem, and push for that typically systemic problem to be resolved.
Collective action and a shared agenda are extremely important to a movement. A shared agenda sends the message of the movement out, highlighting beliefs and promoting it to like-minded individuals, while collective action gets that ball rolling.

Historically men have been in power. There are stereotypes that women can’t be as successful.
We think systemic domains should be changed first, because they set the foundation for change. If there are unfair policies and laws in place, they are going to continue to shape peoples beliefs.
Collective action, things are only going to change if people take action
