Sometimes this revisioning is quite dramatic. Often first drafts can be more clearly organised or their content improved by adding or deleting information.  If it is difficult to see what needs to be changed to make your writing clearer, try having a classmate or a friend read your work to see where it is clear and where it is unclear. Then you can make the necessary modifications based on the feedback given. 

The success of your group will depend on its members, so try to choose a partner or a few classmates  who share your attitudes about study. These people will not do your studying for you, but together you can compare class notes, review key concepts, and have interesting discussions about  materials covered in class. Having an informal study group also helps students set aside quality time to review their course material. 

Students are not quite sure what kind of test the lecturer will give. Even so, many students feel fairly confident when they take that first test. However, many others realise that they need to find ways to be more successful on the next one. Students can accomplish this by learning more effective study skills strategies, vocabulary mastery system, and getting help from their study groups. 

Of course, to succeed, students need to do more than think optimistically. Hard work and persistence are key ingredients to success, but with optimism, they  have an even higher chance of becoming successful. For example, imagine two students, both intelligent and hardworking, collaborating on a final project. They make substantial progress until they encounter a  problem. The pessimistic student becomes discouraged and he finally quits the project. In contrary, the optimistic student is temporarily discouraged but knows the problem can be resolved. The optimist begins to view the problem from different perspectives and seeks the help of others until the problem is solved.  Although the two students were hard-working and intelligent, optimistic thinking led the project to success.
