What will you try to improve for next time?

Today we performed in lunch time as Dhara wouldn't be here on the actual performance day. So we just performed. In my opinion, i think i should've played the base line for the song, that would've improved the song. The feedback we received was that it was nice how we didn't just copy the original and how we played the easy part at the beginning and the hard part at the end.

What chords do your songs choices have? (Check Chordify.net)
How have you found playing chords on the keyboard? (Easy? Hard? Fun? Boring?)
How have you found playing chords on the guitar? (Easy? Hard? Fun? Boring?) Explain your answer.
Compare playing chords on the guitar with chords on the keyboard. Which do you prefer? Why?

These are the chords for the songs that I have chosen.
In My Feelings: Gmajor7, F#minor7, G major.
Girls Like You: Cmajor, Gmajor, Aminor and Fmajor
All About That Bass: Amajor, Bminor, Emajor

I liked playing chords on the keyboard. Mainly because i know how to play the keyboard and because i like the unit as a whole.
Whereas for the guitar, it was very hard as I have never done the guitar ever in my life before. So it was a bit difficult to play but i still enjoyed it.
Playing chords on a keyboard but once you get to the harder cords like octaves, 7, sus4, then its is hard. I am not sure how all of that works in a guitar though.

It is called Praise You

Our intention: We would like to harmonize all the instrument and make it have a good flow. Were they the same as those you expected at the beginning?

It was basically the same with and without Dhara as Lena and Gemma sang for us. It complication was that there were many parts where they stopped, only the instrument played and many others things. It was fully explained to Lena and Gemma so it turned out well. The feedback was the same as when we performed in lunch.

Write about your finished catchy composition (criteria C strand iii):

What catchy elements have you included in your catchy song?

Who in your group did which parts?

What do you think is successful in your song?

If you had more time and resources for this project, what do you think you would like to do to improve it?

Write your response to the the unit (criteria D). Answer the inquiry questions:

Is using and repeating small musical ideas, such as in modern pop music, lazy or clever?

To what extent does the composition of the song itself make it catchy? (In other words, are there other factors that make a song popular? Examples: promotion, advertising, popularity of the singer)

Final questions (criteria D):

Did you enjoy the unit?

What new knowledge or skills did you learn/practice?

What did you find easy/difficult?

The catchy elements that we used were, chords, baseline, 2 background beats and a drum.
In our group I did the chords because I knew what chords were and when to use them. I also did the drum. All of this was created on the program. The Peter found out 2 beats in the background which sounded well together. Peter came up with the idea of how to end it and I did some final touches by timing it perfectly with one of the features called piano roll. The chords that we played were G Major, D Major, C Major and E minor.
I would've liked to done a better job on the lyric part as it didn't sound very well.

CRITERION D
It is clever as it sounds good.
There are many factors, as if Drake posts a good song it is more likely to get famous than a small musician even if it is just as good.

I enjoyed the unit a lot.
I learnt that making lyrics is very hard. And how to work better in a group. I found playing the keyboard easy and the guitar difficult.
