It has come to my attention that many different forms of fidgets are being brought to school and used in classes.  A fidget is something that assists in helping students pay attention to their teacher and helps with concentration while they attend to a task.  There are students that are allowed to have fidgets or different accommodations to help them with school.
I am hearing and seeing many fidgets that are nothing but a toy and a distraction to the student playing with the fidget and the students around them.  Our IMS handbook states that anything that is a distraction is not allowed and will be taken away.  Please keep your toys at home unless you are specifically allowed from your teachers or administration to have a fidget here at school.
