I learned a lot about this type of folk dance. The most interesting thing that i learned from this lesson was the ability to do it at faster speeds and it not being just a beginner dance. I found it cool how there are only 4-5 main steps and that they are repetitive throughout the whole lesson. Another thing i learned was that it involves two people to do the bamboo sticks and one person to dance or more if you want to advance more. Typically, 3 people are needed, 2 to hold the bamboo poles and at least one dancer. Rhythm and coordination are definitely needed for this dance. Even though there are only 5 or so main steps, it can be quite difficult. It was actually a little difficult at first, but after a few tries I think I had it down. You might not think it is a dance because it involves poles on the ground. It involves a lot of coordination and many different dance steps. You need two people to hold the poles because they will be hitting them against each other.
