Does the international societies have a model to follow? Does there really exist a true horizontal model? Becuase it seems that the origin of international society is simply a group of "periphery" countries imitating the central few, or perhaps the most "powerful" or "charming" ones, for example, back to the early modern time when Louis IVX was in position, nobles around Europe send their children to learn French and French costoms in Paris, and the Russian nobility can speak fluent Enligh back to the 19th century, can't we say that even within this "horizontal" model of the international society, there is still one vital figure that everyone tries to follow and imitate? Since in each society we can see that when the leadering figure has changed, their costom certainly changes alongside it. And this figure is certainly the one with the most power (maybe hard, maybe soft), it is just that in different societies, some role of the figure lies implicit (17th century Spain in the European society etc.) and in others it is rather explicit (China during Tang Dynasty). Therefore, can we say that the internatioanl society is a production of power, and this society is merely a multilateral influencing bloc?
