         <description><![CDATA[<p>Preliminary Thoughts 4/9/25:</p><p>Spanish I, II, III and possibly IV and AP classes included (higher levels could take the information provided from the lower levels and take it to a higher level of vocabulary or knowledge acquisition.</p><p>French II</p><p>ASL I, II</p><p><br/></p><p>Determinine how people in other countries do exercise, walk everywhere, use public transportation, have smaller portions and compare that to the United States and our habits here.   Exercise here is more in a gym. </p><p><br/></p><p>Wealth and dietary habits -- connections to different countries and their access or accessibility to different kinds of food and why they eat the foods they do.  </p><p><br/></p><p>We can create a document and then kids can collaborate on all the different videos/slides.</p><p><br/></p><p>Menu can be the metaphor symbolic of health in the different countries.  It would be a menu with food-value information.  (Metaphorical menu.)  Menu for specific foods and give health information.  Activity-wise things to burn those calories in different countries and the equivalent of the US time on an elliptical machine.  </p><p><br/></p><p>Have food on a plate as a link (different locations, Central America, South America, Europe, etc.).  Click on the food link on the plate and it brings up information about the nutritional value of the food item, how many calories it would take to burn that item, and how they would exercise in their countries to burn it.  </p><p><br/></p><p>Data about life expectancy in different countries collected first.  Americans have a lot of assumptions of food choices and exercise.  </p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>**Blue zone of different countries where people live into the 100's (Mexico, Costa Rica, etc.). Central America together, South America together, Europe together. </mark></strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>**Focus on the optimal diet and exercise program in one certain area.  Compare that to the "ideal" area of the US as well.   Which has the best and the worst health.  What are the best cities doing that the worst are not?</mark></strong></p><p><br/></p><p>2 or 3 kinds of food included per region.</p><p><br/></p><p>Making a digital creation to go up to a website eventually.  </p><p><br/></p><p>The "menu" links could be included on a map to show locations.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
