I think we need to approach it from all angles
  1. Faculty based timetable staff: Increase staffing in timetables to have Faculty timetables staff similar to the situation in Client Services.
  2. Student Enrolment: Client Services to work closely with students who have not enrolled for the whole year to assist with full year enrolment enabling greater visibility of student numbers a year in advance.
  3. 3, 6, 9, 12 month contracts for casuals: Having more long-term contracts for casual staff to assist with locking in timetables earlier. At UNE, you receive a contract at the start of the year and hours are added at the end of each semester according to how much was claimed in the prior semester and how much work is available in the following. It seemed like a really simple administrative option.
