• I couldn't help but notice that he really enjoys more of the laser focused testing rather than observations. I am curious as to why he likes using those more than using observations or portfolios?

• assessment is getting to know what your students know and how you are going to use that information

• make the students do all the work, make them work together and ask them questions like "what did your friend say?"

• not everyday are you going to be able to fit in the little assessment, but it does help connect with your students when you do incorporate it everyday
