I would like to thank all our volunteers. You are the heart of the Singapore Red Cross; pumping life into the humanitarian work we do. Locally, you bring joy to the isolated elderly and persons with disabilities with the gift of companionship and security, put food on the table for disadvantaged families, give a leg up to the children from vulnerable families by mentoring them, telling them stories and providing them with tuition. You also enhance community resilience through community first aid and blood donation advocacy. You lend a helping hand amid the COVID-19 pandemic by distributing customised care packages to elderly, disadvantaged families and migrant workers. Prior to the pandemic some of you have gone on overseas disaster missions to bring relief to communities affected by disasters, or overseas humanitarian projects to educate young children or uplift their lives. You have rallied support from your family, friends and network to fundraise or donate generously to advance Singapore Red Cross' humanitarian work. Thank you for everything you have done. Your contribution has enabled the Singapore Red Cross to uplift the lives of the vulnerable and enhance community resilience in Singapore, and beyond.
