If this happened to me I would freak out I don’t know how he stays so calm and keeps to himself. Nya has to go and put a donut on her head and then something to carry water I believe I don’t remember the name. I would probably be a lot more responsible if I had to do that everyday. You can tell who belongs in your culture, tribe, village, etc. by how they dress, patterns, tattoos, piercings, what they eat, etc. I can tell myself apart easily cause I don’t have a culture really so by looking at what languages they speak and stuff. Q3. Nya’s every day journey is that she has to walk for hours to get (water?). It says that going there was easy, but coming back was difficult because of the weight. I would feel proud, but pressured. It’s essential, meaning people can’t live without it, so wouldn’t you feel pressured?
Q4. The way we can tell who’s in which tribe in “A Long Walk to Water”, is the symbols on their head. Salva’s tribe was a sort of triangle. You can tell what people’s religions are by the way the talk, or dress. Nya's journey everyday is to go back and forth to the nearest watering hole to get water for her and her family. In the first chapter we learn that Salva has a pretty difficult, war torn life. This is simply because his home country is always at war. Salva has a very unique culture that is not based upon who you are or what you can do, it is based on your age and responsibilities. Different tribes tell themselves apart by the markings they have, and by the language they speak. Two of the questions explicitly stated in the text as Salva's thoughts are "Where are we going? Where is my family? When will I see them again?" Under those circumstances, I would probably be very scared and frightened and would have thought the same things.

Nya has a very difficult journey. She has to carry her jug miles, fill it with unclean water and drag it all the way back. This process can take her a full day just to get unclean water. If I had such an essential task I would be determined to fulfill it, but seing as how long the journey is, I would also be very bored.

I do not think his family members are dead like I said before I think they have escaped the village.

Q3. Nya's journey is basically just walking to get water and walking back over and over again for seven months every single day. If I had such a responsibility I would get very tiered of walking and I would be nervous if I didn't do something right.
