My Mom and I never lived together since I turned 13 years old. This reminds me of Mom who always told me she was a phone call away. Since she passed away, I miss talking to her on the phone.

This is a picture of my casio watch. its a cheap $20 watch that I've had for the past 8 years and its run on the same battery. It's been my favorite watch because despite it not being the flashiest or most expensive its been with me through a lot of important years and events, and its extremely resistant. My mom recently bought me a ring identical to hers, she bought both with her first few paychecks from her first job. I don't know much about rings and I don't have it on me at the moment, but it is square and has a rectangular stone cut surrounding the main stone. I bought this ring in San Francisco with my friends. We all bought one from a small business and kept it as our friendship rings. Since we are all transferring after this summer and may go our separate ways, we want to still keep in touch in some way, by keeping these rings on us. In the picture I am holding my passport. As a child my family was not wealthy enough to travel. When I turned 18. I saved enough money to go on my first flight to Florida. I now have been on many flights and am lucky to be able to travel the world. I love to travel to new places and go on adventures. I am also from Massachusetts and before I moved here a year and a half ago, I was lucky enough to drive from MA to CA and make it a fun road trip with my friends.

This is a bracelet that I acquired from my grandpa when I was about 13 years old. I didn't really know what the significance of it was, and all these years I've carried it with me wherever I go in any city, and it still gives off a faint aroma after more than a decade. I don't really know what it's made of, but that's not the most important thing to me anymore. It has been with me through much, much more, so it's more like an old friend now.

This is a teddy bear from Build-A-Bear dressed in a Ravenclaw costume that I got during September 2020; I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I'm always going to hold onto this because not only was it very hard to get my hands on, it reminds me of a time that was pretty tough for me (starting a new school year during a pandemic) but that tough times will pass and you can fall back on your hobbies/personal interests/creative outlets for comfort when you're overwhelmed. I can’t necessarily remove it to take a photo of me holding it, but pictured is my Jade bracelet that was gifted to me by my aunt from Vietnam! I’ve had several Jade bracelets growing up as I’ve grown out of sizes or unfortunately breaking, but this one would be my absolute favorite because of the mix of white and green it has. I really value the family significance that this bracelet has, along with it’s color which makes it really unique.
