         <description><![CDATA[<div>By Conn Hastings<br>Published June 19, 2019 <br><br>An interview with Steve Willey, CEO of Innovega Inc. was performed regarding a new generation of eyewear that has combined lens-based vision correction. The lenses use augmented reality to deliver digital media to the lens-wearer with a device that is configured to their specific needs and preferences. The lenses will be available as both contact lenses and lightweight glasses. The lenses also include a small lens at the center which enables the user to focus on digital content on displays(Hastings, 2019)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The idea of the eMacula is an exciting concept. Many people with varying degrees of visual impairment could benefit from this technology. Based on this article, this technology could be the answer to the problems previously discovered with the use of augmented reality lenses such as Google Glass. As our world quickly becomes more integrated with technology and augmented reality,  eMacula could easily fit into the lives of the wearers and provide multiple benefits such as assisting in facial recognition and assisting in use of smartphones and computers. </div>]]></description>
