God was first portrayed as nature and the veneration of ancestors that passed on, as some were buried near their homes being prize possessions to their soul. 

As the Roman Catholic beliefs became the central role of worship, it ventured into multiple sorts of Christianity spreading throughout the nation like Anglican, Pentecostal, Seven Day Adventist and many more. This allowed the society to pursue the type of worship that suits them from either being traditional or liberated.  
  

Religion has taken a whirlwind turn to what it once was from adapting new extensions for the African culture introduced Rastafarianism and fellow Indians brought Hinduism. Since then, there was never a choice given in what you aspire and believe for it  was demanded.  

Some religions have reputations of negative qualities like the Baptist faith, being associated with 'obeah' which shows that individuals would sell their souls or prized possessions for wealth and bad aura for their enemies. 
  
The diversity of all these ethnic societies became recognized  over the years and continue to be celebrated. The Caribbean's identity has developed a concept which shows equality among any preference.

 Society can be both accepting and degrading, but it comes to show what is being presented. Many religions have faced continuous judgment on their beliefs while others be praised due to historical background.  
  
In the Caribbean, the Baptist and Islamic faith have shown to endure the most attack for their beliefs.Therefore, they have been more protective of themselves than others for their reputation has been judged countless times.

Education and gender have played major roles in what religion has been developed into. Socially, men are seen to be more powerful and demanding over the women whereas they are viewed as the housewife and caretaker of the home. As for education, it was known for individuals to keep their beliefs a secret or convert to another for the sake of a better life. This structure offered a certain preference and reputation to be advertised.

For situations like this, modern times have given the society schools of every religion like Lakshmi Girls' Hindu College and ASJA Boys' and Girls' College which gives families a sense of comfort for their child not rebelling against their religious background.

  

This comes to show that you can never " judge a book by its cover" for my drawing expresses both identities joined as one to represent peace and solidarity.
