Well Certain apps encourage young people (or any age) to be incredibly narcissistic. Facebook is one of many but another one that is slightly different is called Instagram which introduces selfies (taking photos of yourself) and posting them to see how many "likes" you receive. Many want a lot of likes and many begin to get into the habit of posting photos of theirselves and trying to edit the pictures and make them look better. The same process occurs with Facebook when you post a picture in your timeline. Truly "It is easy to blame social media for such changes" says Sarah Konrath. Being a child in this era I witness narcissistic users of media almost everywhere social media has corrupted many minds.
