My hopes: Training is meaningful and leads to better coaching conversations with sales team, which results in improved retention and engagement/excitement.

My fears: More dissent than support. Not having buy in on the importance of employee development for overall job satisfaction when training is complete.

Outcomes: Understanding of the purpose of using a rubric (clear expectations, consistent assessments, and allows for metacognition) in coaching conversations. Regional sales directors having more tools to support growth within their team. Implementation leads to DSMs feeling empowered to improve and work collectively with regional director. Results in more sales.

Responsibility: Create an effective training with various learning opportunities. Work collaboratively with sales team. Support implementation year (however determined) and make revisions to tools/materials as needed.

Relationships: Could be positive or negative depending how others view our role in implementation. SCP Rubric directive isn't coming from L&D, but could be perceived this way? Could also support in creating more meaningful relationships and collaboration in the future.

My hope is that the VPs and Directors are aligned on the purpose of performance evaluations and the benefits of using the rubric over traditional assessments

My fear is that we won't get alignment from leadership which will affect the fidelity of implementation

My Hope is that the training is useful/meanifgul to the entire sales org. This tool can be used from each person to better their understanding of expectations and working relationships.

My fear is that we have misalignment due to poor communication prior to the event and the event turns into a brainstorm on how and what this should be. My other fear is that cerain people/regions do not support and move forward with subejctive and inconsistent dedication to the program.
