My review: I have never read a book like this before. This book made me think about gender and relationships in a new way- a lesson on empathy and the way we love. A must read, highly recommended.

My review: This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions. The author has you on the edge of your seat, wanting to see how this relationship unfolds. This book definitely makes me cry. We also learn about when they become friends, what caused them to drift away, and her family.

Maya's life has always been chaotic with her only stability being her love for science. When her con artist father finally gets caught and foster care fails, her only hope is a long lost aunt who may or may not even exist. 

With four hundred miles, $20, and two unlikely allies, her world gets turned upside down. Her scientific logic does not apply on the streets and all her morals are questioned. With the dangers she must face as a runaway, she naturally questions if it is all worth it or she should just find a way to live on her own.

My review: is a hilarious yet heart wrenching book. It is a must read and is on my list of favorites (that's saying a lot since I have read so much).
