Myths, mystery and science are behind the ancient pyramids, built in a civilization where industrial equipment was far from developed, Egyptians managed to create incredible structures of unprecedented magnitude. One of the most famous, the Pyramids of Giza were built around 2500 B.C and according to archaeologist's estimations close to 4000 labourers were involved in the construction. 

My Interest:

I have watched several videos of different theories as to how the pyramids were constructed, but still a lot of mystery surrounds the how? Ancient civilizations were very developed and advanced maybe even more so than we are today, given that some of the brightest minds of our time are still debating as to the truth behind the pyramids.

My Learning:

I would like to learn about our ancient cultures, because they laid the foundations to our present. As Carl Sagan an American Astronomer said, “You have to know the past to understand the present”, and it is extremely important to understand the present to better our future.
