         <description><![CDATA[<div>The topography in a Taiga biome is is snowy and has a lot of trees with needles due to the weather.  Insolation in the Taiga is very nun to little. It can get up to 24 hours of sunlight at a time, but in the winter it barely gets any sunlight because the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun.</div>]]></description>

Wax on the needles and leave keep from evaporation.<br>Animals:Mooses, lynx, bears, wolverines, foxes, squirrels.<br>animals in the Taiga adapt by hibernating and some animals migrate to the south where it is warmer.</div>]]></description>

Some trees have butterfly roots to help sustain large trees that live in the Taiga. Some plants like Epiphytes live on other tree branches high up in the canopy. The spruce and larch tree both have wax on their needles to keep them from freezing and shedding show.</div>]]></description>
