I really loved the first piece because I can connect with it (the family aspect of things), also because of the Frankenstien reference as well! I liked how you took that narrative and made it your own. I really liked the line "She lives!" despite all the rotten bits of life. The format also added emphasis to the poem which worked really well.

I feel like I should write something here too. It’s weird sitting and saying nothing. I really had fun with this piece. The shortened lines were actually quite challenging because I’m generally a wordy person so I had to be really selective to get each line below 3-5 words (as is her style).

I really like the structer of this. It's purposeful and feels natural. The Frankenstein reference is also artfully done. It would have been easy to use a hammer and beat this out, but it's done with delicasy restraint while still being a strong presense on the page. The only thing I suggest is adding the shape of lightening somewhere in the structiure. It's so present in the story, andi I think it needs to be on the page.

I really liked how you interpreted this story and implemented a different style in this poem. I especially liked the detail and personal aspects that you added to a well-known story. The formatting also added a lot of emphasis to this poem
