Greeting students, trying to reach all the students with a smile and also helping them as per their need. Congratulate students for the things they have done well and helping them what they dont know. Asking students what they have been doing as co curricular or what they like and then discussing economics and business questions with them that they dont understand, giving them KDL chart on every friday's - and then helping them with personalised eco and business notes. Moving around in class every time. i have found the students are more receptive and also feel we care for them if we are with them. Giving all students a challenge and make them feel they can do it.wishing them all the best at the end of the lesson for the entire day. Not giving up on any students. helping all students via email or interval, lunch times or after school if they need extra help. telling students what each credits mean for them.
still trying new things.

Flip Classroom Strategies
Let the students be the teacher which allows them to prepare and teach a lesson to the whole class. Sometimes it is easier for others to understand the students rather than the teacher.
Active encouragement & support
Acknowledge small achievements in the classroom. Actively support students both in and outside of class maybe working one on one with them. Record merits or Excellences on KMAR for participating or contributing great ideas in class.
Building great relationships
Having a good sense of humour in class, creating consistency throughout each Term. Allow students to think big and get out of their comfort zone, be a active listener when they share ideas. Provide equal opportunities for every student to achieve their goals. Talk about their favourite thing to do outside of school other than co-curricular. Getting to know the learner and how they learn best. A simple smile can make a student's day better.
