He does not make himself sound like the hero he was. He explained it like he was just a man trying to get by. He talks about how he had never used the internet, never seen or been in an airplane, and had never even seen a hotel. He acted like he wasn't the hero, though he was the one with the mission. Most of all he said with our own mission we could do something amazing just like him.(this is also why the video is better). He made an amazing impact on the entire world and his experience can be learned from. He showed kindness, perseverance, and most of all he never gave up.

I personaly prefer the TED Talk because I have a hard time understanding when I'm being read to or reading. In the TED Talk, he personaly talked about what he experianced compared to the biography that was written by a different person than William.

The TED talk differs from the biography because he gets to really express his perspective in the TED talk, and the biography is more structured (which gives important facts), but the biography was more free and you could relate and connect to William.

I actually like both equally. I like watching the video because I can connect more with the speaker, and really see his perspective.
