Here is a simple recipe that could help improve your dog's eyesight! No need to bake!

Ingredients:
Mangos
Apples
Blueberries

Step 1: Peel off the skin of the mango and remove the seed. Then mush the flesh of the mango up.

Step 2: Chop the pineapple into small pieces after removing the skin and spikes. Add the pineapple to the mango.

Step 3: Add blueberries on top! Make sure to wash the blueberries though.

Why did I make this recipe? Because Banks House' charity is Orbis! A charity that helps blind people or people with vision problems. This is a healthy recipe to improve your dogs eyesight!

Firstly, what is a 'psi ball'?

A psi ball is basically a ball of energy (psi) that can be controlled and manipulated to help you perform telekinetic tricks.

Some may think that 'psi balls' are fake, but there are numerous videos proving that it is real and not just a hoax or something people choose to believe in (e.g. magic).

How do you make a 'psi ball'? (Note: making a successful psi ball takes lots of practice, and others won't be able to see your psi ball, it is visible only to you through your mind)

1. Sit in a quiet room, close your eyes and make sure that you are in a peaceful state.
2. Cup your two palms together forming a 'U' shape and feel the heat between your hands. 
3. Find the part of your body known as the solar plexus (which is where your lower ribs meet your stomach). 
4. Try and pull out the heat you felt in step 2 from your solar plexus (note: just do a pulling action and visualise energy flowing out).
5. Visualise the heat, which has now been converted into energy, you have collected into a ball shape. (Your hands and the psi ball should now look similar to the Conservation International logo, support Conservation International!)
4. Move your hands in all four directions to help you to better visualise it.
5. Try making the 'psi ball' into different shapes and then make it a sphere again. 
6. You can now try to cover objects inside your psi ball and telekinetically move it!
7. After playing around with your psi ball, you should release it by just visualising the psi ball dissolve into nothing.

Ingredients:
4 Large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
Some blueberries and olives.

Steps:
  1. Boil the eggs for 15 minutes, then rinse under cold water for 1 minute.
  2. Peel the eggs carefully. Dry and slice them in half lengthwise. 
  3. Remove the yolks and put them in a bowl. Place the egg whites on a plate. 
  4. Mash the yolks using a fork. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and salt and mix.
  5. Place the yolk mixture into the egg whites evenly.
  6. Place the blueberries or olives on top to make them look like eyes.  And WOW, you will get eight eyes!!

What you will need
  • Colourful pipe cleaners
  • Borax 3-4 Tbsp 
  • Warm Water, 2 Cups
  • Jar Or Tall Glass
  • Popsicle Stick, Silverware or Chopstick

 Method

  1. FORM PIPE CLEANER INTO CURSIVE NAMES OR CUT SMALLER PIECES TO FORM BLOCK PRINT LETTERS AND CONNECT
  2. WARM WATER TO SIMMER, ADD 3-4 TABLESPOONS BORAX PER CUP, MIX WELL
  3. HANG NAME WITH TAIL OF PIPE CLEANER OR STRING AT TOP OF JAR
  4. POUR IN SOLUTION TO COVER THE NAME COMPLETELY
  5. ALLOW MIXTURE TO SIT FOR 4-6 HOURS, OVERNIGHT IS BEST though!
  6. REMOVE FROM JAR AND LET DRY.
  7. Enjoy

TIPS & EXTRA IDEAS!

  • If you don’t have colourful pipe cleaners, you can also dye the mixture with food colouring to achieve the same result.
  • You can amp up this craft by using the yard to make a pretty handle to hang the name in a window or on a wall. You can braid the yarn, add tassels, even beads.
  • If you homeschool, you can make these part of a gem lesson and have the kids draw up close angles and even take a peek under the microscope if you have one.
  • Homemade crystals are extremely easy to make, but they do need to sit completely still. If you put them in a spot the kids can see them growing, they are less likely to try to move them to get a better look.
  • After you’ve conquered making names out of pipe cleaners, try other shapes and creations!

INGREDIENTS  
6 seaweed sheets
1.5 rice cooker cups uncooked Japanese sushi rice
270ml water
1/6 cup rice vinegar
1.5 tbsp sugar
0.5 tsp salt

STEPS
1. Rinse rice with water 3-4 times
2. In a rice cooker, add water to rice
3. Soak rice in water for 20-30mins before cooking
4. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar & salt
5. Once the rice is cooked, leave out to cool until lukewarm
6. Add vinegar mixture to rice and mix thoroughly 
7. Using dampened palms, press a serving of rice together to make the panda "body"
8. Using scissors, cut a strip of seaweed for the panda "arms" 
9. Cut 6 small circles for the eyes, nose, ears, and tail
10. Assemble and line rice with seaweed parts.
