I believe that this picture is a perfect example of contrast. The lighting on the lady shifts the focus to her compared to the other guys. The colors on her dress and her beautiful features also make her stand out compared to the guys that are dark almost in the background. Also their faces aren't as visible so your eyes shift to the face that you can see.

This is an example of VARIETY because of the different colors used at once, such as the house exterior, the tree and the road-sign thingy in front, and the billboard. Also, the style used with the paints, and the wonky proportions and sizing, all blended together into one, slightly strange and almost abstract painting make this an example of VARIETY.
