Thoreau; he was complaining about taxes and how he didn't want to pay them. And how of days honestly nobody wants to be pay taxes and we feel as if they over tax many things. Do we go to the extreme he went to. No but we all could possible feel the same. 
Gandhi; I feel like Gandhi's text relates to us because I know we want Independence in America but im not completely sure how...
