         <description><![CDATA[<div>A moment I enjoyed was Stephanie Kwolek's final accomplishments with her development of strong fiber. I wonder why everyone questioned her work until she had nothing left to prove but the results?! When you think about the fiber Kevlar is five stronger than steel and very lightweight may be hard to believe, but Kwolek made it happen.&nbsp;<br>nine Cannon becoming an amazing astronomer and amazing me with discovering 400,000 stars. I honestly could not believe that number and the fact that in the city you are barely able to see stars. I was so surprised and intrigued by Cannon's discoveries in space and the infinite stars were able to classify. As I read both of these women's stories, I could not wish everyone was taught the origin of scientific discoveries and these women did phenomenal research for their communities then and now.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mclaren seemed like a very confident and proud worker. She wanted her work accredited not herself, and to me that speaks volumes to her character. Her research on ice was really interesting to learn about. I loved how once she found one detail, she wanted to find more. Her research didn't just stop once they got to their first goal, it kept going. This is why STEM has become so intriguing to me lately because I never realized that the developments never stop. STEM is all around us. Genetic testing now is different than when Mclaren started her studies but her ideas are what initiated all the processes and research developments.   </div>]]></description>
