Maths- addition with money, pictorial addition, reasoning
Starter:
Read the book together as a class
On whiteboards add up the amount of the pants on each page after giving each colour of pants a price, e.g. blue- 50p, red- 35p, yellow £1.10. 
Activity:
Class to make their own underpants which they can then cut out. After they sell their pants to one and other for the prices dependent on the key. This enables them to be active while using physical money to exchange goods. 
Plenary:
Word problems- if I have £4.50 how many blue pants can I buy? How much change would I have?  Etc, changing the amount and the pants that you want to buy.
