We went to Hugo França's exposition, he mainly works with dead parts of trees, monoprinting them using his own paint.
After lunch we had to present our Research Task, I presented with Felipe and Vinicius, we had to do about Ed Atkins, I sarted talking, giving a bit of his biography and them we showed a video of him explaining a bit about his work.
After Cezar read the brief and gave us some examples that we could use as reference for our project. This day was the same as the least one, we had to work on our scupture, and I started making the design of the mechanism that I was going to use to move it's legs, not everything worked as I planned in my had, so I had to make some adjustments with hot glue, like, to stop the wire from running around, it worked really well, but in the end it was a lot more work that I thought it would be, so had to stay working after the class finished. Managed to finish the 4 legs and connect it into the mechanism, I gave it a goal as you can see on the video below.

AM: Recording some footage of my sculpture to make the video.

Since I had already finished my sculpture, I used the day to make the video, I borrowed the camera from EBAC, and recorded some videos, after I edited everything at Adobe Premiere. We had this class with Lauren, in which showed us some videos of some artists, just so we could think on the materials we could use, after we had to brainstorm on 15 ideas of sculptures, I only managed to think on 6, but 6 good ones. I focused on usning materials that would give movement to my sculpture, like drills, skateboards, elestics, strings, fishing rods, fan, and so on... After we went to a exposition about an artist that has schizophrenia.
After Lunch we had to develop 3 of the ideas we had, I chose the wired turtle, the whisle sculpture and the sculpture on top of a skateboard. We just displayed our outcomes over the tables and then went through table to table, hearing everyone's presentation. At my turn we talked a bit on how my scupture works and on why I choose such materials, Cezar was very unsatisfied with the shell I puted over it and the cardboard I puted to hide the drill, and that I should have made the wire longer to make more distance. I already knew about all of this, I just didn't do it because there wasn't any more time left, since we only had 2 days to build everything and one day to make the video/picture/3D  digital display.
