3. In this activity, we are trying to teach the concept of Association. How our brain likes to associate one thing to another or to several other things. We will use a term that a young child can already understand, i.e. Connect/Connection to explain Association.
4. Turn to activity 5. Read the instructions and ask the child to look at the picture of the park. Ask what can he see? He will probably say butterfly, bird, trees, boy, girl, slide, flowers, grass and so on. Ask again what can he see. He will repeat the answers.
5. Then use the term Connect/Connection to get the same answers. So, what can you connect to a park? He will most likely say the things mentioned earlier. Use what can you see in the park and what can you connect to the park interchangeably.
