I believe this because I observed gas bubbles and foam and it got more foamy as the time went on. Another reason I believe sample B contains life is that after 10 minutes I observed 4 layers vs. the other ones I only saw 2 layers of materials. The evidence of gas bubbles and foam supports my belief that sample B contains life because bubbles are gas and gas is a sign of life. We produce gas by breathing and living things also breathe which produces gas which then produces bubbles. Living organisms in the soil they Require different resources to Grow and sustain life. Different organisms exist in different layers of soil. Therefore sample B shows evidence of life.

I believe that because when I added water, it made a sizzling noise. Also, the color changed from clear to a clear creme color right away, and it bubbled a lot too. It smelled really bad  too. Finally, there is two inches of foam at the end of ten minutes.
