         <title>Which class? I did it in all 3 of my Spanish 1 classes
How many students? There are ~21 students in each class.
How long did the EduProtocol take to implement in class? We used it as our warm up. ~15-20 minutes including presentations.
Successes? Got the students speaking in Spanish in front of the class more.
Challenges? Following directions.
Note for next time? Assign slides by number so there is no confusion. </title>

         <title>Class- Honors Chemistry</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div># 32 students<br>Time- After assigning groups,  it probably took 30 minutes for the students to complete their portion, and a further 15 for discussion and sharing. <br>Successes- Some students appeared to have a deeper level of understanding of IMFs, than when I demonstrated or explained the concept. <br>Challenges- some students had difficulty abbreviating, simplifying or expressing a concept in their own words. <br>Next- do more sketch noting and lab procedure summaries before assigning this. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Geometry-2 Blocks</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>#43 students<br>Time- After showing the students how to login to quizizz this protocol can take anywhere between 10-20 minutes depending on the quiz itself and the amount of explanation that is needed after the students complete it. <br>Successes- Many students appreciate the quick feedback that they get about the section that they just learned. They also appreciate that the game is posted as a homework game so they have problems that they can work on to review before the assessment on that section. <br>Challenges- Some students take more time to complete problems when the game is a live game which prolongs us from moving forward with other material. I have met this challenge by encouraging students to do the quizizz a second time as a homework game as they work towards their 100% completion. <br>Note: Make quizizz only 5 problems instead of 10 to be able to play more than once a period. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Living by Chemistry</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>16 students present at that time (out of 19)<br><br></div><div>The Quizizz was very quick to implement since we have used it before.  <br><br></div><div>It helped the students realize that they hadn't reviewed the vocabulary for solutions from the class before.  Some didn't get any right the first time and were starting to look a bit discouraged but we discussed the questions and repeated the Quizizz right away and the scores improved.  <br><br></div><div>Everything went well-- we just need to do this more often.  I think it will help them learn the material better and be better prepared for tests and quizzes.  <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>ASL 1 Unit 1 Review</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Which class? </div><div>Two ASL 1 classes</div><div><br>How many students? <br>37 students.<br><br>How long did the EduProtocol take to implement in class?<br>Students are familiar with Quizzizz so it was easy and quick to use. <br><br>Successes?<br>Students were able to review and retain signs they learned.<br><br>Challenges?<br>Students prefers that I sign or a video that signs instead of pictures.  <br><br>Note for next time?<br>Have students create signing videos and implement into Quizzizz.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Honors Biology - 28 students  10 mins per day</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Quizizz - I created multiple Quizizz with the vocabulary for each unit. Biology is a challenge because students need to know the terms and use them in discussion. In this way, biology is like learning a foreign language in addition to understanding and applying content. The level of success was awesome! The test for this unit is all short answer so even though some would say students had just memorized the Quizizz, I treated it like flashcards. As a class they performed higher than past classes and were able to use the genetics vocabulary clearly in answering the questions. I also asked for reflections on the use of Quizizz and students LOVE them too! They liked the repetition and practice. They felt successful each time they improved their scores. We will be using them every unit.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Design Process Educprotocol</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Which class: Engineering Design</li><li>How many students? 13   students</li><li>How long did the EduProtocol take to implement in class? It took 2 lessons the first time, and 1 lesson the second time.</li><li>Successes? Using the same outline every time means students are getting really confident with the steps of the design process.</li><li>Challenges? Students went too quickly on some steps and didn't include enough detail - for example when taking notes from the recording of their interview.</li><li>Note for next time? I gave thorough feedback on student reports in their Engineering Notebook from the first time I used this, and had them review the feedback before they used the eduprotocol a second time, so that they could see areas where I wanted more detail or wanted changes to be made.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
