         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>- Teachers must actively seek out collaborative relationships and consider how the units of study affect student learning and engagement.<br>- Sharing expertise within the orbits of ability aid educators in growing together.<br>- During the curriculum transformation process, teachers have to feel comfortable expressing what knowledge they might not have.<br>- PLC's help improve student learning (DuFour, 2005). They also allow us to learn through DLNs. Teachers collaborate to reflect on their practice and expand they knowledge and skills.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>- For performance task assessments to have genuine value, the teacher’ s instructional practices must help develop the task’ s intentions. Including students working collaboratively.<br>-  Innovative teachers are willing to take risks and not just do what is familiar or what has been done in the past. They are more of a guide for student self-learning and a direct instruction type of teacher.<br>- Students must demonstrate the ability to work effectively and respectfully with diverse teams. Collaborative environments are becoming more and more common in 21st Century Learning. Students should know how to work together in groups in order to be successful in a career.<br>-Students need to become higher-order thinkers, collaborators, performers of authentic tasks, local and global connectors, and strategic and capable users of technology and web-based tools.</div>]]></description>
