No one was there to save me so I had to be the one to do it. I could only count on myself at that moment. I didn't know how to swim in the deep end yet but I had hope that I could get myself out and I did. I valued that some things are unpredictable and holding on to hope can push a person to get themself out of a situation. I was able to save myself so I want to help save others.
