Students who are not confident to ask certain questions (on an awkward topic for example) will still get  a chance for their voice to be heard.

An Ideas wall can sit down the bottom of the class where students can jot down different ideas, questions and discuss between fellow students ans of course the teacher.
An Ideas wall I believe would work very well during project bases work, where every group has their own wall and they can work continuously on it throughout for example a months worth of lessons and then compile their knowledge together.

Each cup has a different meaning: 
Red highlights the students don' understand the task at hand and need immediate help from the teacher.
Orange: means the students have some idea of what is going on but not 100% sure if they are completing the task properly.
Green: "The color you really wish to see" means that students are 100%confident in what they are doing and are happy proceeding in the task.

This is an excellent management technique is it allows you to gauge how well you explained the task.

Teacher does not shout or argue with students.
Works as a type of silent treatment. Each student has a lollipop stick with their name on it, when chosen randomly they must answer the question or are now apart of a group.

Students get the opportunity to fill in their own worksheet. If they are struggling to complete it after a designated time they crumple it up and throw it in a basket at the top of the class. All students do the same and then once shuffled the go retrieve a crunched snowball. They then try to fill in the gaps of the person they got.

It allowed for the sharing of ideas and collaborative thinking.
