         <description><![CDATA[<div>Carbohydrates make up 45 to 65 percent of your total daily calories.<br><br>Carbohydrate	17kJ (4 kcal) per gram<br><br>For women since recommended daily calorie intake is 2000 calories, between 900 and 1,300 calories should  from carbohydrates. That translates to between 225 and 325 grams of carbohydrates a day.<br>&nbsp;<br>For man with 2500 calories daily intake recommended. The data should between 1,125 and 1,625 calories. That is 281.25 and 406.25 grams of carbohydrates a day.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Energy Source<br><br></strong>Carbohydrates are broken down to monosaccharides, mostly glucose. Glucose are absorbed by the small intestine where they enter the bloodstream and transported to the cells in need.<br><br><strong>Gut function and Dietary Fibre<br><br></strong>Fibre are indigestible complex carbohydrate. Fibre ensures good gut function by increasing the physical bulk in the bowel.<br><br><strong>Energy Storage<br><br></strong>Some excess glucose are stored in the body as glycogen (enzyme glucagon converts glucose to glycogen). A single unit of glycogen is has 50,000 glucose units and is highly branched, allowing rapid dissemination of glucose when it is needed for cellular energy (with enzyme insulin, convert glycogen to glucose).<br><br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
