Due to this isolation both are lonely and express this in different ways.<br><br>"A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody. Don't make no difference who the guy is, long as he's with you. I tell ya," he cried. -Crooks pg. 72<br><br>"I get lonely," she said. " You can talk to people, but I can't talk to nobody but Curley. Else he gets mad. Was not allowed to speak to anyone else besides curly.<br>While Crooks was going through the same thing due to his race he was seperated from the others.
