The big idea that we get from transcendentalism is that our personal experiences in the world teach us frequent lessons. Transcendentalism is kind of like using the world as another extension of yourself. Seeing yourself as a part of nature or one with the earth. In my life the nature is pure, it's cleanly and beautiful. The woods and nature is a weird mix of cleanliness yet messy. Like its unpredictable and dangerous but so calming. Transcendentalism very much reminds me of spirituality and everything being connected.

To me individual over society means being self reliant. Not relying on others or the universe for things to happen to them. Making good decisions for yourself to better your life.

Man is inherently good

Man is inherently good is talking about the intentions and life of humans in pure and kind. It is light hearted and unbroken. Humans are not physically made as a monster they are taught to be anything other than good. This statement is telling us that man inherit a light spirit and kind soul.
