         <description><![CDATA[<div>Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the '20s and is best known for artworks and writings made ​​by surrealist artists.<br><br>The characteristics of surrealist works are mainly the surprise and the unexpected juxtaposition but many Surrealist artists and writers explain their work as a philosophical expression first and foremost.<br><br>Surrealism was born from the Dada activities of World War which was based in Paris. From the 20s, the movement spread around the world, affecting the visual arts, literature, film, music, language and political thought, philosophy and social theory.</div>]]></description>
