         <description><![CDATA[<div>Clara Barton was a nurse during the civil war. Although she never went to nursing school,  she was provided self-taught nursing care. She was also the founder of the american red cross.  Near the start of the civil war,  a  group  of wounded soldiers arrivied in Washington D.C. Clara and her sister, Sally, did what they had to do to help the soldiers in the Civil War.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Clara Barton was most known for being the founder of the American Red Cross.<br>2. When the Civil War ended, Clara tracked down the missing soldiers. After leaving the ARC (american  red cross) in the 80s, Clara traveled the country  teaching people first aid skills. She never married anyone or had children. She considered the soldiers as part of the family.<br>3.</div>]]></description>
