The chemicals in the water can be bad because they could cause an algal bloom because of too many nutrients in the water.The oxygen added to the water also creates an algal bloom. Some chemicals could be bad for fish and cause them to DIE. 😥😥😥😥😥😢😢

Algae blooms are created when nutrients are added to the water, like fertilizer. These are the steps.

1) Fertilizer and extra nutrients are added to the water.

2)Algae forms on the top of the water, creating a green layer.

3)Sunlight is blocked, and plants die

4)Bacteria eat dead plants and breathe in all the oxygen, and the fish can't breathe anymore😭🐟🐟

5)The algae dies too, and so do the bacteria from the lack of sunlight.

6)The cycle repeats!
